Visa Invitation Letters

We require the payment of one-half of a conference registration fee before we send a letter of invitation for visa purposes to persons who are not conference presenters. If a visa application is rejected and we are provided documentation that confirms the rejection, we will refund the deposit completely. We may additionally request a curriculum vitae/biosketch, or reference to an academic or corporate webpage of a biographical nature, before we send a visa letter.

IMPORTANT: Effective January 20, 2010, the US Department of Homeland Security is transitioning to enforced compliance of the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) requirement for Visa Waiver Program (VWP) travelers. Therefore, VWP travelers who have not obtained approval through ESTA should expect to be denied boarding on any air carrier bound for the United States.
